john gonzalez reporting, abc 7 news. >> that's the best benefaction, staying indoors today. it's 50 degrees outside. >> this break. we will check in with jacqui jeras for the latest on the storm. if you are wondering about the outer banks, here's a live look right now at some of the waves beginning to crash a short in >> meet bruno, a military working dog. >> good morning, washington. >> we have all the resources available to us that we're passing along to you for hurricane sandy. >> jacqui jeras is keeping an eye on the forecast. >> the wind is up a little. the pressure has dropped. so that is a sign the storm has intensified and could strengthen before it makes landfall especially if it interacts with the cold front that has been tracking our way with the jet stream. the storm has been moving northeast all day yesterday and has started turning in a northerly direction. it has picked up a little speed. now we will watch for it to make a turn towards the north and west. we expect to see landfall probably somewhere on the jersey shore. so not in our area. that's the good news
